An Opposition Senator has been accused of being sexist, after "meowing" at Finance Minister Penny Wong. Liberal Senator David Bushby made the noise during a heated Senate Estimates hearing in Federal Parliament, but has since apologised.

I detect a certain 'smugness' in Ms Wong's ongoing behaviour, time after time. I don't think she's necessarily good for the Labor Party Caucus. I also happen to possess a conviction that artificial pregnancies between same-sex unmarried partners is NOT a healthy direction to head, socially-speaking. Every child deserves both a mother AND a FATHER to guide them in their upbringing. That's the way nature designed it. NB .. I'm NOT a Fred Nile type reactionary nor a catholic right-wing extremist.
