I was in Lindau at least 100 time.....I lived in Altenstadt (in Oberbayern) 3 years when I was a child :))....now I live in Czech republic

I think in spring it's even better (ok, the water is too cold to swim in), the prices for bedrooms aren't so high as in summer and there are less tourists. Fall also must be interesting because it's a wine-area.
I've been there before 2 days for my first time and I was very impressed!! Also from Meersburg, by the way.
ps: the weather was just great, like in summer!

You need to go there and find out! Only a visit during July and August is recommended because otherwise the weather is very dark and cold. These pictures are from my visit 10 years ago. From my memories, it's actually one of the nicest places in all of Europe, and if I had more money, I would happily go back for a visit! Highly recommended!!!!
