OMG!!!!! I actually got empowered "through my computer". You're right. Life is only about me. My wife should entertain me 24/7. I should have no responsibility or accountability as a husband. Everything is about me and I can betray and emotionally abuse my wife as I see fit because "I" am what matters. I was soooo stupid. I thought all human beings deserved to be treated with some level of respect and dignity. How stupid was that? I see now that it is only my own gender that matters.

Thank you for saying this! I had a tantrum about 5 minutes into Eat Pray Love and turned off that piece of shit, and wrote hate about it on the internet for hours about it. THANK YOU FOR FINALLY SAYING THE FUCKING TRUTH THAT HAD TO BE SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fridge empowers me because of the many steps I took to reach it from my bedroom after I forget to brush my teeth or put on a pair of pants. Also it is a thing that gives me things. Just like a women feels empowered when she devorces her husband.
