This is the outro to the final commercial break of the Flintstones on wpix, which leads to the closing credits. It seems to me that most syndicated cartoons' final bumper was similiar to this one. Included in the closing credits is a wpix voiceover.

  • My brother and I always wondered (when we were kids) why didn't Fred go through the window like the cat did? ;)

  • @Bluesteve32 When I was a kid, my sister ask me the same question. I said that he was too fat, lol

  • Yes, and Bea Benadaret is still listed as "Betty" so it couldn't have been too late into the series. I don't think anyone has made a suitable Betty since Bea.

  • Yeah, she was great. I loved her giggle. She was better than Gerry Johnson, the woman who first replaced Bea. Btw this is from season 3.

  • whomever was talking over the ending song should have been fired.

As for the ending part, that was one mighty strong waitress who gave them ribs that can tip the car over.

  • lol

  • good old days i miss these days

  • I'd be betting when WGN used to run these classic Flintstones episodes, these same bumpers were used.

  • @Bluesteve32 I know, right? I never could figure that out, either. I guess either he's not too bright or too fat.

  • @stopthemachine I totally agree. To me, Bea Benadaret WAS Betty Rubble. That's why I like the first 4 seasons better.

  • Channel 11 use emotional blackmail to keep children watching.

I DO feel sorry for Mr. Wilson but I will NOT be watching Channel 11 because I don't believe Mr. Wilson gives two shits about Channel 11 especially as he does not directly benefit from me or anyone else 'saying tuned'.

Kids, if you feel sorry for Mr. Wilson and want to make a difference, donate some money to an old folks charity in his name. Don't believe the propaganda put out by Channel 11 and their bastard marketing department.

  • @Ricardosauve

    Yeah, that was funny!

  • @mickeyears2011

    yeah,when Fred gets locked out...that is a classic..."Wilmaaa!"

  • @Bluesteve32 .....great question....but then again, cartoon logic isn't real logic!

  • how they fred get lock there
