@Duffman3005 Because they do it sans physics/any real effect on gameplay. DICE has interactive destruction on a different level. RF was very impressive, but that's why they make a big deal out of it nowadays.

@0lionheart Makes you wonder how EA/DICE make a big deal about their destructible environment when RF1 has been doing it all this time.

RF1s destruction was all irrelevant in single player. multiplayer though...

RF1 has better single player. It was one long campaign, like Half Life. Red Faction 2 has better multiplayer. So many maps and weapons. The destructability is better in RF1, too.

@Ir0nF1st924 Yeah I don't understand why they did it in RF1 and then just didn't carry on with it, but it must've been a pretty good reason. Or laziness. But at least we've got awesome building destruction still :P

it would have gotten to complicated and the cpu couldn't have handled all of that.
