I'm learning a tune everyday. Liz Carroll wrote this tune and pairs it with a great jig called "Crabs in the Skillet" on her album "Lost in the Loop," which I highly recommend you purchase!

I just put new strings on my fiddle. They are Infeld Blues. I'm not sure I love them yet. They're certainly grittier than my last set, which were Pirastro Obligato strings, and the set before that, which were Infeld Red. I needed a set that was a bit more "fiddly" because my last set were just so clean it felt wrong for the genres I play. :) I put this new set on a few days ago so they've set. I think... 3 1/2 out of 5 stars for now. If you have any recommendations or favorite strings you think I should try out next, let me know.

I have a question, do you happen to know what key "Red rocking chair" is in?

I would really like to know!

    Thanks in advance

  • @jjbugman Most people play it in G I think (go to /watch?v=-XhprTR3tHM)

  • You do a great job of playing musical compositions by Liz Carroll. This so far is one of my favorite Liz Carroll-penned tunes.
