@Frequent2001 It's not true, the Nordiques never lost money. Aubut sold the team before to start losing money. And It was just about the building and the weak canadian dollar.

@cWoSeanIcon they didnt move the nordiques to denver for the sake of a building. they were having big financial problems and had problems marketing the team to Anglo Canadians. They had they announcements all in french, they had no english radio stations to market to, sure they had a solid fanbase (in quebec city) but that wasnt enough for the team to be rentable. Also they tried to get bailed out by the quebec government, the govt refused.

@fiset35 so strong, that they never went to the conference finals. Why are you talking non-sense... MONTREAL won that year!!! So, that makes Montreal Very,very, very,very strong I guess, cause nordiques is a bunch of losers eversince, even this week I heard they lost...again..lol

Pagé insisted on his Nordiques to play a defensive game when he probably had the most offensive talented bunch of players in the league, that's why he sucked.
