Did you free-hand those lines? Quite an excellent piece, really liking those effects.

@boutassai The sketch is freehanded. I used various line/ellipse guides for the firearms. I use a tablet-input smoothing hack for everything else.

@moatddtutorials a tablet-input smoothing hack? is that like those corrected lines you get in - say - flash, when you use the default brush? (smoothening the lines and stuff) ive been looking for that quite some time, mind to tell me a little more about it? great work with all of your videos man i love how you break down the basics

@Itasakisan It's more like a software-induced lag that slows down the speed at which the cursor "catches up" to the actual pen position. There's another program known as LazyNezumi which accomplishes a similar effect. Flash smooths out curves when you finish drawing and lift up the stylus. The smoothing hack that I use affects the line as it is being drawn.
