The noise the aliens make when you kill them was taken from when the sound effects guy accidentally recorded an angry screeching peacock. I remember reading that somewhere. Yes, this was a very decent game.

one of my favourite all time games, more creative than todays hyped up games with boring music and sound effects

you could play pong during this game right?

This was the single best game on Amiga 500+. I still love the music from the Superfrog intro.

I had a dodgy version of this game and it used to crash on me all the time, but whilst it worked I loved playing 2 players with my brother, TURICAN was another great game from this era. PEACE

How hard is this game?
-
@A1R5N1P3R Yeah Gods was another good one. I loved Turrican 1 and 2. Remember Moonstone? With the Knights chopping heads off and all that? Ha, i remember my mum bollocking my dad for buying me and my brother that game lol. I just had a look around and Team 17 did anothet top down racing game that was meant to be really good(i didn't have it though) called ATR - All Terrain Racing. Maybe that was it? Put it in the youtube search bar and check mate.

@sidious76 Indeed they did, I'm not sure if it was Overdrive, I remember city maps more than traditional tracks. Although maybe the city maps came later in the game; been awhile since I played it. Only Gods still works on my Amiga2000 ):

@A1R5N1P3R Do you mean a top-down driving game on the Amiga by Team 17? That would be Overdrive mate. Same development team as Assassin i think - Broadhurst/Dalton. Alien Breed(s)/Project-X/Superfrog were the Tadic/Holmes team. Team 17, Factor 5 and Psygnosis really pushed the Amiga to its limits. Great times.
I love these old school games.
