I have never pickled suckers but was wandering do's the bones get soft enough to eat.

Cool, I have had pickled gar before but not suckers. What type of pan were you using to brew up that brine? If you don't use enamel coated or stainless you could be cooking up a bad case of the hershey squirts. Just a helpful hint from the pickle lady. :)
