That is the title of Patrick Geryl's book which we discussed during this bonus production of Outside the Box.
This is part of a series of interviews I am conducting on the subject of 2012 featuring a wide variety of viewpoints. Patrick focuses more on the astronomy involved with 2012, including his prediction of a pole shift. He believes that shift will end up covering nearly all of North and South America in water where only a small percentage of the population survives. The concept of the great flood in the Old Testament is discussed.

Alex are you listening to this man's theory ? When this gargantuan event happens (if it does) very few will survive and all of the power struggle will be laid waste. Who knows what is coming in 2012...maybe Patrick does ...we hope he doesn't.

This guy is a COMPLETE ASSHOLE. The only fact is that he's scaring the shit out of ignorant and clueless people that can't think for themselves. Any idiot that spends all their money building a shelter and when 2013 rolls around and nothing has happened(and it won't) and they are penniless and have to on welfare, they deserve it. Say it does? This jerk in his mountain retreat will die of starvation when his giant Tsunami wipes out everything around him, his retreat isn't high enough. Moron!!!

The only problem I have with his theory is that we must consider the diversity of plants and animals on earth today. If such an extreme cataclysm did happen not only will 99% of humans be wiped out but we can add animals and plant life to that equation. If this has happened in the past then it would take millions of years for animal life to evolve into different species. I do not see a problem with tsunamis but I do not believe that they can be on the scale mentioned in the interview.

hmm what to say,well first thing i think of is they say atlantic will rise again and went down into the sea,ok so if this happens that means,right now we live in atlantis,cause we did rise again,and we are about to go back into the sea,also maybe this is why there covering the earth in aluminum and berium to sheald earth against an emp,aluminum is the best for shielding against a emp if they cover the earth in aluminum,the emp would make our emf around earth get stronger like a tesla coil
