This is my favorite scene in the whole movie. The suspense, the building intensity and moral dilemma- it's perfect!

Hard to believe Dan Hedaya played the dopey jilted bridegroom in "Smokey and the Bandit"--but he did a great job, just like he did in this movie and also in "The Usual Suspects." I'm not a Coen Brothers fan but this movie is terrific and didn't get the publicity it deserved.
