Quick Hair Bun With No Fasteners Required

This is a quick way to put your hair up in a bun. It's good for any time you just need to get your hair out of the way (cooking, too hot, want to wash your face/brush your teeth, windy day...) and takes just a few seconds. You don't need pins or clips or hair sticks - just your hands and your hair. I've done it messy here, if you want you can do it very neatly by combing or brushing your hair into the hand-held pony first. Of course you can decorate it too if you like, pick a little daisy and poke it in!

Heads of hair differ a lot, of course and you're probably right. You might want to try a few times more though. When I first used to try it I didn't get the twist tight enough and wind it 'just right' that the internal tension would hold it. Eventually I got the knack. Longer is easier than shorter too. If yours just won't the extra help of a hair stick should do the trick. In the early days (before I mastered it) I used a pencil! Regs... Megs
