"Ocean view" ....as long as you don't mind power lines/poles. More often that not, that term doesn't apply.

I can see a family with elementary age kids buying it so they just cross the street to go to school (is that school any good?). Of course, it's never really a smart idea to have the biggest house in the neighborhood, especially such a dramatic difference.
That 1.2 million must be a construction loan, since Redfin shows the last sale as being in 2004 for $545k-but it also shows that it was built in 1957.

It all went reasonably well right until the end. :)
I'd be perfectly happy with one of the "up-and-coming" houses, especially the one with the pickup truck. You probably can't even see the buses from that yard.
