Pike County Illinois Bowhunting

During a late October trip to Pike County, Illinois temps were in the low 80s and the big bucks weren't moving until after dark. The bowhunting.com team used this opportunity to harvest our first doe of the season on film. Equipment used: Bowtech Allgeiance bow, New Archery Products Nitron broadhead, Gray Wolf Woolens and Scent-Lok clothing, and of course Gum-O-Flage from Hunting Science.

Awesome footage on that bow kill. I'll bet that doe was some good eatin'. Wonderful shot placement, to boot. I'm definitely staying tuned to you guys. As Will Primos would say, "It Ain't Hollywood," & you guys do an excellent job with your videos. I think all guys really want to see are the raw hunts, not over-produced, dramatized videos. Sure, that stuff is fun to watch sometimes, but it's not really the kind of huntin' where the rubber meets the road. Keep up the great work!

@MLBRENIZER thanks! We will be putting our entire season on our website as it happens this fall. We are going to Wyoming in a few days to kick start the season then it's back to Illinois and Wisconsin for 100% whitetail fair chase hunting! We have some decent bucks on trailcams just have to be in the right place that the right time.
