by Mitch Kowaleski through Professor Rev. Dr. James Kenneth Powell II, opensourcebuddhism.org. This is a stupendous, one of the best ever. I love how you take the viewer through the basics - connecting it with practice via the 8-fold path, plenty of Buddha "world is mind" quotes supporting your thesis. Then the evidence you provide for this is fantastic. I loved the segment on the meditation and crime experiment, the Dr. Emoto evidence...great stuff. Then, you really sew it all together in a very solid presentation of the Buddhist notion of mind and supporting evidence from surprising sources! I love the psychedelic imagery that I now see as your trademark - mesmerizing. I liked especially the images for lust and for desire - the Michelangelo Jehovah is superb. Nothing shows desire like that image! Well-chosen. The music was very nice yet low-key - no overwhelming of your professional narration. Only a couple of negatives - mispronunications of Sanskrit terms which I could've easily fixed for you and mispelling of sunyata as sangata.

  • Buddhism. What a crappy philosophy. Its first tenet. "Life is full of pain and disappointment". What a silly way of thinking. One should think like a winner. Think : "Life is full of joy and accomplisment"

  • Well...one does think that way...once one becomes a Buddhist!

  • @opensourcebuddhism life is a grace

  • @mexman48 You successfully trolled a bunch of Buddhists. Bravo.

  • @mexman48 The translation of the text comes out in english differently then what the true meanings of the words were. Pain and suffering also means hardships like distress and anxieties that come along with daily life. So know the true facts before you insult people, ignorance is poison.

  • Perhaps a study on the five-aggregates
