@aaron75fy - You don't have to. It is just easiest that way but if you can get her to friendship without upsetting the others, go for it.

You say in the vid, Dissent is given to the player if Anders is 25%+ in friendship after seeing the Arishok, is it possible to get this quest if he's a rival???

I'm doing the Rival trophy & side with Templars 5X trophy too along with Supplier, was making Anders my Rival by supporting the Templars (working v well) but now i can't get Dissent quest you say?

Do i have to start over?

@EmmyIiciouS Rival will work, too. Just make sure you progress rival at the same pace as I suggest friendship (25%+, 50%+, 75%+)

@EmmyIiciouS  and @anyone-else-reading-this, rival/friendship is ok for most characters. the hardest one is Isabela which is why I suggested romancing her because she always returns if you successfully complete the romance. if you do not, then you have to get nearly 100% in either direction and say the right things to get her to return

AHHH im in ACT 2 and i keep missinf 2-4 of the ingredients and its mostly lythium or deep mushroom and i really dont want to restart just to get this achievement -_-

@pms00 easy, isabela and varric don't mind me helping her with her personal quest. she never comes with me to the fade and the same thing that anders likes me doing helps bump up her blue points. in fact the only char i got 100% rivalry with is carter
