Abadon and Shell Dragon

This is one of the parts of this challenge I'm most proud of. The strategies used here are developed entirely by me. Unfortunately, this part could have been done a lot better. I had 2 would-be superior runs that ended due to bad luck (in one Dagger missed on the finishing blow, and the other I got in a random encounter on the way to the save point).

Abadon: This battle is quite easy if Quina has 1 HP after Abadon's second attack. If Abadon uses Thundaga (or misses with Blade) on his first turn, have Steiner suicide to guarantee that Abadon's next attack targets Quina. When Zidane enters the battle, Quina should always get a turn before Abadon, and Zidane usually will as well. If Zidane gets a turn, have him defend, and have Quina use Limit Glove. If Zidane is defending, both Blade and High Wind will be unable to kill him, so you can kill him on his next turn.

Shell Dragon: This fight is much easier if you're willing to use Shiva. Oddly, Lucky Seven is more predictable than physical attacks (and much faster too). It just so happens that 1 physical attack + 7777 damage does just about the right amount of damage to Shell Dragon. Sometimes you may need to tweak it with a potion or two.

Hmmm.... having Steiner KO'd when Zidane jumped in saved a few seconds. Was that the idea, or just a bonus?

How many tries did this take?

Having Steiner KO'd increases the probability that Abadon attacks Quina. Quina needs to be at 1 HP when Zidane enters.

It took maybe 30 tries to get these right.

Do you have to calculate the amount of HP Shell Dragon has left, and then use Potions accordingly?
