Lelouch has Charles' Code which he received when the man choked him. Lelouch was the first one to achieve Code Geass. Lelouch's code also activates when Suzaku stabbed him. Nunnally even gets 'memory watch' when she touched Lelouch. It was the similar effects when Lelouch touched C.C.'s body back in the cave episode. This pretty much tells us that he really has the code and it is activating to revive him. Therefor he is not dead.. You may argue but thats how it is

@thomas40110 i think some works have that, but I really don't think this one does. mostly the people going "HE'S NOT DEAD!!" are idiots in denial, who decide to change the story to what they think is the best outcome. save it for the fanfics, people!

ok. lelouch IS dead. it's not up for debate. he got fucking impaled in the HEART with a fucking sharp sword. buckets of blood were pouring out of him! WE SAW HIM CLOSE HIS EYES. plus he would never do something so douchey as to fake his death or something. it would make me lose my faith in his character completely if he were to be like... "actually, I'm not dead, i just faked it, i really want to be alive" NO! he "died" to atone for his sins, he basically said it himself! /long comment
