@icelifeguard trisomy 18 means she had 3 copies of chromosome 18 when normally we only have 2 copies; therefore trisomy 21 is having 3 copies of chromosome 21

@icelifeguard Trisomy 21 is Down Syndrome and people can live quite a long time with that. Trisomy 18 and 13 is virtually incompatible with life although there are exceptions to the rules, as you can see here.

I am so sorry for your loss! What a beautiful little angel you have looking down upon your family now! May those 19 months you were blessed by hercarry you through the lifetime without her.
