Why should people live longer? The problem scientists always ignore, what one ought do. This drive to a "transhuman" will simply usher in a long lived elite and give an excuse to kill off the true human in favour of the perverted "singularity". Long live the true human, we have greater issues to resolve with our technology than keeping soul void geriatric elites from shedding their mortal coil.

MOST but not all of the transhumanism point are actually interesting moral question, but than people like this guy got in and made it a roleplaying game.
The level of prediction of what those technology will do are bogus and absolutely self delusional.
think boing 747 vs wright airplane, could the kurzweil of that era have predict that we'll have a big problem with the fuel they burn in the atmosphere (check global dimming)?
NO: they could (and did) just predicted people would move a lot.
