i hate the updated version, the foyer organ is in lower key. i dont like how most of the portaraits with the following eyes are where you board the ride. they should have stayed where the were they once were

Ya know, I think riding this is best when it is raining outside (Ironically, I think the sub-premise of it is that it's storming outside.) or at night. :)

i actually a fan of the refurb now the sinister 11 portraits were cool but now instead we have both the sinister 11 AND the portrait corridor but the spider staircase was not something i enjoyed.

This after space mountain is the best ride in the park! Magic Kingdom has kiddy rides, I went to Disney World when I was 3, 6, and 11. I went to Magic Kingdon only when I was 3 and 6.

I wouldn't call one better than the other. WDW has some neat extra features (decaying portrait, staircase chamber, etc.), but the original lets you walk through the portrait corridor before getting on the Doom Buggy. I really love them both.
