sorry about the quality, best i have. I know this is a brief explanation but i'm not a teacher and don't claim to be? I hope this was helpful and any questions let me know!

This technique is called raking, more advanced would be actual picking where you need to individually push each pin up, it's harder, but more accurate and reliable. there are guides to how to make a pick out of a hacksaw blade. Another good tension wrench would be the metal out of a windshield wiper blade.

I have looked into bump keys but my opinion on them is low because who's gonna have their bump key and not their normal key (more on the criminal like imo)? plus it takes the fun out of picking a lock ANYWAYS!

LSI Guide to lockpicking can be found here:

I hope this helped!

  • Bump keys r generally used by locksmiths... And also I tried to pick a lock with a Bobby pin and couldn't do it. I bought a locksmithing kit and opened my first lock within about 5 mins

  • Yeah, i definitely agree, sets designed for lockpicking are alot easier to pick locks with than a bobby pin and a pen clip. There's also lockpicking guns that are sometimes supposedly carried by certain authority figures although i've never seen it in person. they are supposed to work very well. And bump keys are great but personally i like having the ability to at least feel what the pins are doing, so i find picking a lock to be a little more reliable. but bump keys are certainly convenient!!!

  • Thank You for the very explanitory video. Raking is much easier than listening to the pins ne by one until they click. My only explerience with picklocking was opening a lock of my friend's so he culd get something(his keys)twice.Anyway thanks.
