I loved the banter between liara and shepard during this mission, they really improved liara in comparison with her role in the first mass effect, where she was just bland and boring.

Liara definitely has the most privilege among supporting characters. Has her own personal dlc, information network and ship, shows deepest character improvement, always feels close and protective of Shepard (Shepard's meat and tubes included :) and the only character that never dies as a story option. Yes, in case you didn't notice, all ME players will have her alive in ME3 regardless of whatever they done in past. Liara will play a huge role in the last chapter, just like every ME game so far.

Pretty much the coolest combat theme in the game! Hell, pretty much the best sub-story in the game!
