  • Pure insanity to ATTACK a force that not only outnumbers you big time in men, tanks, planes, and guns, but also well organized and fully prepared with tens of thousands of mines, anti-tank ditches, and even knows the time of attack.

Germany lost the initiative when they lost Stalingrad, and should have been purely on the defensive from there on.

  • @38602 it doesnt work

  • @ZRedWingZ They didn't they lost!

  • The main enemy of the German people is their sense of superiority that's what made them fail.

  • gee, i've been watching a lot of british and other foreign documentaries--why can't american documentaries be so informative and educated?

  • @ZRedWingZ so you can alleviate every mistake by saying "oh it's easy for you to say afterwards."

  • @fiendin281 easy to say, don't u think germans had more data and believed they'd be successful. after u know the results easy to say what ppl should do. reality-during war u got what u got and u deal w it

  • @ZRedWingZ obviously it wasn't solid enough or even logical if you ask me. Also when is it ever a good strategy to engage such a well dug in defense directly like that? Hitler was still under the illusion that he could win the war when in reality it was already already over. He should have just set up defenses and try to hold strategic territories, not that it would have guaranteed to help his overall effort. It might have been his Parkingson's Disease that caused him to make hasty moves like so

  • @fiendin281 u didnt read subtitles...hitler needed to attack. things on a war map are happening around the kursk battle too and overall situation suggested that it was a last chance to turn the tide of war. germans were losing ground. if germans broke though defence battle would be concidered a great german victory. sides don't know the outcome of battle prior to the fight and obviously germans thought they had a solid strategy and they did.

  • @TheNClegend96 about kursk and what was done to teach soldiers to fight enemy tanks
