All this talk about him being short... hmm.. In the early 90's when he started up in the NHL, 5'11 wasn't really all that short. Maybe for a defenceman - but at 215 lbs he's hardly to be considered small... His stance and hip checks just made him look smaller, plus he always seemed to hit and mix it up with the big guys - Lindros, Lemieux, etc... Don't get me wrong, I loved watching this guy - but he wasn't so little.

@PureLtFan its tricky in that part of the world....don't forget Russia used to control much of the land that is the Eastern Bloc. Kasparitis is in fact Lithuanian, but also Russian....when he wants to play on a contending team.
