@CaneyNootch Dedication doesn't equate to quality. Talent doesn't make for quality either (I'm sure there are many talented pop stars who make horrible music. Metallica is talented and look at that trash they made with Lou Reed). Passion, dedication, and talent are great, but that doesn't make anything good. You guys are dissing rap music really? who made YOU the authority on what is good? Someone who actually composes their own music, and spends hours in a studio clearly is dedicated. Listen to midwest choppers 2 by tech n9ne and tell me the rappers in that song don't have talent. Suicidal Tendencies said it best - "just because you don't understand it don't mean it don't make no sense. And just because you don't like it don't mean it ain't no good" show some respect to anyone who shows a passion

@CaneyNootch Your comment totally makes sense... except: I think mainstream rap sucks because I dislike it and therefore in my existence from the viewpoint of my own consciousness it does suck because I do not vicariously think through the entire rest of humanity.
