This version of this song seriously changed my life.

i saw the show a couple days earlier in l.a. i waited outside for 5 hours to find a ticket on the first night and got shut out. waited outside for 5 hours on the second night and got shut out. waited outside 5 hours on the third night and finally got in. this song was the end of the acoustic set, transitioning into the electric, just as the ecstasy was kicking in. hands down, without a doubt, by far, no doubt, unquestionably the best show (out of 250+) that i have ever seen in my whole life.

The shows of this era were incredible (MCIS small theatre shows in winter of 96). I saw them at the Academy in NYC on January 12, 1996 -- same version of Rocket was played there, loved how they reworked it. Still prefer the original but this was imaginative ...

I remember seeing this one Adore interview thing where Billy says something like a song has infinite possibilities and a version is just one take on a song. It makes me feel bad for people that go to live shows and pay a lot of money for the same thing they could get on the cd. Like a Britney Spears concert where she doesn't even sing haha.

The greatest hits was so mediocre. It's time they released a box set of rare songs. I'm not talking rairties and b-sides on itunes. I mean like the phsyco tapes and Metro shows.
