@donanarcisa When you'll learn more about the arabic world,real arabic culture, and understand the MEANING of this arabic music/song of the famous Egyptian singer Oum Koulthoum you'll understand better. Didem knows how to dance, she can move perfectly but her dance isn't really corresponding to this classical music. I do find her gorgoeus and very talented but in the arabic style,she is not the best..there are great bellydancers in this style much better as Cherine -egyptian-,fadwa -moroccan

@dinavienna Its okay..Actually, I have learnt alot about your culture, and I'm really appreciating more the arabic world.

Besides, in Islam, everything is fine with me alhamdulilah.

I tell myself "Educating yourself is the true way to Islam",to this life. I'm craving attention and searching my inner peace. Islam really helps me. I've learnt alot, and have found my way,alhamdulilah. I need to be in peace with Allah,with the others and with myself..Inch'allah.

I know you started out loving Didem, and then you made such great progress in understanding Arabic music, song, culture, faith.. it is great to get to know people who are not stuck in one perspective but keep exploring and learning! not everyone is like that here on youtube :)

@donanarcisa excepfor maybe Romany dance, which is her own. I would have to hear a knowledgeable Roma confirm she is "great " on that dance though since it is not my own and I cannot judge it.

@donanarcisa Besides flameno dancers and Indians complain about her treatment of their song and music, too. Oftentimes when someone takes bits and pieces from every musical culture there is it is to disguise they are not excellent in any single one of them. As much as I think Didem is entertaining and beautiful and often quite interesting to watch (although not too long in a row -w hich every EXCELLENT or great dancer is,you can watch them all day) I believe she is not great in any single dance

@donanarcisa @ "She is very good in all that she does". Her interpretation of Arabic melodies, songs and rhythms is not "great", but unfortunately really bad. Only people who are Arab, have got to know Arabic musical and dance culture well or have very high sensibility and feeling for what fits foreign music and what doesn't see that. But ALL of them do - I have never heard a single person knowledgeable in Arabic music, song and dance say Didem can dance to them. Most people say she "butchers".

@dinavienna oh I wasn't refering to you when I said " bad comments ". You're free to have your own opinion which I agree with as I have mentionned on top. I think step by step, @donanarcisa will get the opportunity to learn more about the arabic bellydance style Inch'allah. Take care!
