We had a pretty good day today on the La Junta Sub, and saw six trains, and racked up 140 miles doing so.

@balleballe55 Most of the "foamers" I've met over the years are pretty descent folks that want no trouble from anyone and all they do is enjoy a hobby like watch trains on their days off from work. Most of them work forty hour weeks, collect a paycheck and find something to do on their days off. Besides, if it wasn't for railfans, the railroads would've went out of business a long time ago because they would not have anyone to cover those jobs. There are some that do work for a railroad, too.

@balleballe55 Most railfans don't almost get ran over, except for the few stupid ones out there. From experience, they have called in crossing malfunctions, they have called the railroad when they suspect there is a problem with the train and they call in suspicious vehicles parked along the right of way. They call in tresspassers, they call in people fucking with the switches and even called in a hobo hitching a ride on the tracks. Why do you thing Amtrak and BNSF use them as resource?

@GNRMetallicaSlayer how do railfans make things safer if anything u get in the way of shit and almost run over

@balleballe55 First of all, how does CN as in Canadian National, operate in Benin. Secondly, how about give me a reason to believe you work for CN. Last, but not least, in order to work on any railroad in North America (that includes Canada and Mexico) you need to know how to spell. I do not think they would let someone sit in a cab of their locomotive who can't spell better than a second grader. I find it funny how the railroad use "railfans" to make things safer for crews & you bash them.

@balleballe55 You are 23 and talking shit to 14, 15, 16 and 17 year olds. Give me a fucking break! I would be honored if someone was railfanning the line I was running on because it would tell me they appreciate the job that I am doing. Pieces of shit like you are so ungrateful for how good you have it. Besides, part of me does not buy that bullshit about you working for CN. I'm willing to bet you work at McDonalds and are pissed off at CN for not hiring you so you throw them under a bus.
