oh nice music as well

@pantsmatants Aye - it's as though he had an extra joint to each of his fingers! I play a modern 'Concert D' set and would dearly love to play a 'flat' set like this - but my fingers simply aren't long enough to cover the span of the chanter.

what is this documentary, and where can i find it...

I love this tune and really love playing it. I know pipers are supposed to add their own stylistic touches to make it reflect ones own style, but I found that it is great the way Ennis plays, so I enjoy playing that way as well.
I have only heard it on the Uilleann Pipes. Looking forward to checking out "Miles and Miles of Music."

@ois9ois There are several rhythmically distinct varieties of jig in traditional Irish music, including the the double jig in 6/8, the slip jig and the hop jig in 9/8, and the single jig in 12/8.
This tune is a single jig.

I swear that man had the fingers of a bat. He couldn't help it but pick up the pipes.
