I ave scoliosis and my doctor said i need surgery, i just want to know if i would be able to do the things that i used to do after the surgery, like martial arts and sports?

well, I doubt..... it's actually a case to case basis. some people recover quickly and some people don't... but for sure your doctor will restrict you to do some outdoor activities like sports.... when are you going to have your surgery??? Godbless

I used to have a 107 degree curve in scoliosis, and after surgery it became 35 degrees. Please check out my channel! =D

@ashhh26 My daughter has had surgeries for scoliosis since she was almost 5 years old. She has a severe case. We normally waited about 10 days after the stitches are closed.

hi!!... ilove the information givin but there's just one more thingg.... how long is it before your back can get wet && you start swimming? and the pain goes away

it sucks but after ur surgery ur not gonna be able to do anything involving jumping running swimming or hard exercising for atleast 3 months...i had surgery in march and my back is still numb and my doctors r likanyone who has ?s about scoliosis mssg me n ill answered them!!!...=) gabbye no sports maam...lol..

i had surgery for scoliosis on march 9th and everything went very well..its been 2 months later and my back is still numb but im very happy i got the surgery..you loose alot of weight..=)...so yall dont be scared u cant even feel it ur back is gonna be comletely numb..if any of u want to know more info just write back and illl answer any question =)
