My suite's trip to the East Village. This vid was made rather hastily. It's just to store memories outsied of my camera. =]

Mostly walking and sight-seeing. Some sidewalk art, shoe stores, and a French Cafe called Le Pain Quotidien.

  • You need to make more videos. I have never been to New York. Thanks for posting!

  • @MrJingjong I'm trying to! I'm currently in the process of moving and attending college, so it's tough. haha. I don't actually live in New York, though, I just went for a summer class at Columbia Univ. This was a quick trip my dorm-mates and I took that I filmed. ;)

  • who recorded the video? I can't believe it has been almost a year since I last saw you guys.

  • The one holding the camera in the opening photo. :)

    Who is this?

  • The east village and greenwich are very different places. Greenwich village is more mainstream gentrified. Until recently, the East Village was a dirty and extremely dangerous mecca for artists, punks, junkies, and criminals.

  • And we were in both.

Sorry, I should have clarified that more. I think we started off in the East Village looking for sales on shoes and then made it to Greenwich for lunch after a hour or two. Maybe more, it was fun. :) So, the video features both places.

  • thank you for sharing!

  • wow that chocolate heart thingy looks so nice :P

  • Oh, thanks, I'll fix that! :)

  • damn those girls are hot!!!

  • If by beauty you mean fucking three thousand dollar condos and lame-ass luxury buildings replacing social centers and restaurants, and everything that ever made the neighborhood great disappearing, then yeah. I miss the old days, which I witnessed very briefly, but changed my life.
