Actually, the video doesn't prove any such "revisionist history" on the part of Republicans. Perle's statement in the video about "ties" between Saddam and bin Laden are correct. What is questionable is whether or not there were any "operational" ties.
We went into Afghanistan after 9/11. Not Iraq. The first Sunday after 9/11, Russert asks a point blank question to Cheney, "Do we have any evidence linking Saddam Hussein or Iraqis to this operation?" Cheney: "No."
