All your facts are wrong. Amare was never a trade...the knicks signed him prior to the 10-11 season. The knicks did not get carmelo and billups for JUST gallo. The knicks traded felton, gallo, chandler, mozgov and a draft pick a long w/ around $3 million mainly just for carmelo. Billups was just thrown in there to make the trade somewhat even and to give NYK a pg since they had to give theirs away.
