This thing is awful!

I got one a while back, it can't pick up any of the 7 local FM stations and doesn't pull in AM very well, I'm lucky to get one local AM station. The SW isn't worth even trying to use and I can't get the Weather band even though the tower is less than 3 miles from my house!

I've had mine sitting in my living room window for 3 weeks in direct sunlight and It hasn't charged the internal battery in that time with the solar.

Paper weight at best IMO!

@rooftopeagle I would've taken that back to the store. Mine picks up stations I cant even get in my car. Thanks for the comment.

@rooftopeagle I bought one of these last week.

I can't get any local radio stations on mine either. When the SHTF you're gonna want local radio stations.

I strongly suggest getting a different radio.

@ForTheRepubl1c - A friend of mine also agreed with you guys. He said that he also has one and he sayd his will not pick up and stations nor will it charge. I hate to hear this, but I have to say I think I may have the only good one out there.

@ForTheRepubl1c yeah it seems to be a very hit and miss radio which for me makes it a deal breaker!

great review, I have the green one, did you know that the battery pack that comes with the radio that you have to plug in, does not have to be plugged into the back, when you run the radio from the solar panel.

@JeepCat It seems to be hit and miss with this model, some people love them others can't get squat out of them. Unfortunately mine was a group buy so it wasn't refundable.
