Severe storm that passed through the Great Neck, N.Y. on Thursday June 24th 2010 around 2:30 p.m.

"The National Weather Service in New York NY has confirmed a microburst / straight line wind damage near Great Neck in Nassau County NY on June 24 2010."
easily a microburst of at least 120mph.That's a lot of destructive damage.

@DonsPromo It was called a downdraft microburst that developed as it crossed over the throgs neck and whitestone bridge coming south east into little neck and great neck.The gusts reached 96mph. I was in great neck plaza when it passed but I actually experienced a faster more torrential microburst in 1986 in elmhurst ny,it tore the roof off of the queens mall and those straight line winds reached 110!!!!!!!

Nice video, but it doesn't even show the worst of it. It is a sight me and my kids will remember forever. And thank god no one was hurt or killed. It was truly a miracle.
