If we allow every other culture precedence over our own, if our standards and values we live by become flexible, to the point where it can mean virtually anything to anyone, essentially what you’re saying is that it means nothing. It loses it’s strength, it removes the values from it, thus the bond between us fall apart creating a fractured society.

For example: If being a good person means something different in various cultures, then having a defining characteristic of being "good" is lost.

That makes no sense. Why wouldn't you want people to learn about and experience other cultures? It's eye opening and humbling and prevents people from becoming discriminatory towards others who they may perceive as "different".

I am digging what you said there. Two great books that broke this mindlock in my head were The Philosophy of Schopenhauer(1800's), which led to Tractatus(1900) by Wittgenstein.

Alan Turing used this line of thinking to create the turing machines that led to our computers. That's why the bite out of the Apple is on your mac, and that is an interesting story, which can be found.
