Big Dig @ the R&GVRRM - 2005

Along with its collection of railroad equipment, the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum also has a large collection of historic construction equipment. From dozers to tractor pans to shovel fronts, the museum's collection has been used in a wide variety of projects around the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum.

Here we see several pieces of equipment hard at work in 2005 moving dirt in preparation for the installation of the railroad yard to support the R&GVRRRM's railroad restoration building.
