Why 50 str if he's using lightning?

What shield is this? I've been using Greatshield of Artorias for a while, highest stability but it's too heavy.

Also what option is better? Lightning or +15? 50 str.

@Lagiacrusschocker im actually making a build with the large club, theyre pretty good IMO, they only need 26str and start with an A scaling + poison effect.

just keep a faster secondary wep with you just incase

I love the feel of the great axe. I made a faith build with it and it's one of my favorites.
