I bought this when it came out without ever hearing it first.. It still ranks as the most pleasant musical experience of my life, and was fortunate enough to be able to say that to Noel when he signed it for me years later..
I believe the flute is courtesy of the late great Chris Wood of Traffic. Makes sense, he was on stage at the last Experience concert at the Albert Hall- played on Room full of Mirrors .
I bought this album when it was first released. Thanks for reminding me of some very special days and years. Nothing can compare to them. Hell, I'd do the same things over again with no qualms about it.
Hard to describe their music... So hypnotic!
