@jmbrosendo I, for one don't associate gothic music and metal in any way. Sure there are some bands that try to bring both together. I like both of these kinds of music and there are some commonalities, i think. I like industrial, gothic rock,new- and Dark Wave, death metal, pagan metal and power metal.
very variied.

Easy to forget there was a time when gothic music was not necessarily associated with metal. Pity.

@spydersrun Yes, this was big at the goth clubs, still a favorite of mine. I think I know the true meaning of it, but still I need to ask to be sure. Do you know what it's about?

What is this song really about?

Oli hats oft gespielt........

This song reminds me of everything from ex's to dancing at the goth clubs to DJing and playing this song and seeing every single person stop what they were doing to dance. Wolfsheim is something that I am sure, is missed by all who have heard them.

Back in the late '90s, a retro / gothy club in Atlanta called the Vault in the Buckhead region of town played this song would come on and the dance floor would become a circus of expressive dance. I can't believe it has been over 10 years already. Great track. Fans of Chapter 13 and Xymox would enjoy this.
