IS IRAN A FREE COUNTRY?

Iran received a rating of 6 for political rights and 6 for civil liberties from the Freedom House World Report, which uses a 7-point scale (1 being free, 7 being not free). The group Reporters Without Borders, an NGO that advocates freedom of the press, ranked Iran number 166 out of 173 nations in terms of press freedom. The Economist published a Democracy Index, ranking 167 countries in terms of democratic freedom, with Iran at 145 (even lower than China), achieving the category of "Authoritarian regime".

IS IRAN DEVELOPING NUCLEAR POWER FOR PEACEFUL PURPOSES?

Iran has 10% of the world's oil reserves and 15% of the world's natural gas reserves. In 2004, Iran's energy production was based on 75% natural gas, 18% oil, and 7% hydroelectric power.

At the same time, constant threats are made to both Israel and the West, as is evidenced in this video.

Leaving one possible conclusion-Iran has no need for nuclear power but ever reason to want nuclear weapons.

In all likelihood, no, although that depends on the behavior of Iran. So far, Iran has rejected participating in talks and has not been deterred by sanctions or threat of sanctions. Coupled with Iran's mannerisms and threatening actions, no one should blame the Western countries from considering a military option, even though it is generally overlooked that they are trying to avoid that option as much as possible.
