clip of live performance, sorry, not whole song..it's from the Tonite show, 1978 and was used as a clip in the 1987 Tribute Concert, and part way thru, the onstage orchestra and singer add into it, so it's nolonger jus Harry and his guitar. Sounds alittle strange, they should have just left it alone, but I guess the chick onstage wanted to sing along.....

I was lucky enough to see Harry live in Southport in 1980, when I was 5 years old. What great parents I had for taking me!

This is my favourite Harry song, and I can't listen to it without crying. He was an amzing songwriter, an amazing human being in general. If there more like him, then I wonder what would happen to this world?

harry chapin is not dead. i know this sounds gay but his strong will and pure heart reaches people though his music. and as long as there is people out there with the same will that will carry on that will. he will live forever. goodbye and thank you for saving my life.
