kennesaw state university bible beaters (1 of 7)

these guys come through every year, and i have yet to catch them... until today.

they set up and protest for a few hours about how homosexuality is a sin, and they berate us with bible verses and threats of living in eternal damnation.

this little angel just brightened my day. it was better than watching keanu reeves attempt a serious movie role post-bill and ted. entertainment at it's finest.

Still wont let me post the link just by itself. Oh well, search for the event, all are welcome. and if anyone knows the organization they are with, itll be greatly appreciated so i can do some homework before the protest.  We will be out there just doing anything possible to take away attention from them and just hopefully get all on campus to ignore them. If the Professors complain that they distract from learning only then will they be told to leave campus, so get them involved too!!!

@spbm02 well i mean, they're allowed on campus, which is why they've come back year after year. as long as they stay in the free speech area, nobody can touch them while they are out there. a protest might work.... as for information about them, all i know is they're from a baptist church in a nearby area. i tend to just ignore them now. they're novelty to me.

If these dudes aren't students and have no official business on the KSU campus, than why are they allowed to spew their shit there? I live less than a mile from KSU and my job has me delivering pizza to the campus all the time. If and when these guys come back, I want to know about it because I'd love nothing more than to go down there and fuck with them.

it's a public campus, so anyone is allowed to put on some sort of demonstration. thing is, they have to stay on their one little patch of land, and we have to stay off of it. campus guards will actually move you if you stand too close or on it. haha

we also had people handing out the revised 50 page 'introduction' version of darwin's "origin of the species", wherein the intro completely bashes darwin and all of his beliefs. :)

As a Christian, let me just say that this is not the way Christians are supposed to handle this matter. Though us believers are against homosexuality, we do not parade around with signs. This is not the way to get the Word of God out. BUT the idea he's trying to get across IS correct, as harsh as it may sound. The Bible does say that homosexuality is an abomination & anything that is an abomination will not get into Heaven. It seems as if he's GETTING more hate than supposedly giving.

If they want to continue to bring their message of hate and intolerance I believe the musical trolling should continue. Maybe a different song for every year. Songs such as "Friday", "Never Gonna Give You Up", etc. Once I heard about this I had never been so proud of the University I graduated from.

I happen to be a current student at KSU and I am kinda embarassed as a student of this video. I'm NOT saying that I agree with those Bible thumping morons, but I do not understand why the students who claim to be educated, get their panties so waded up by such ignorance. When these people are on campus, just freakin ignore them. It won't make them go away, because they will never go away, but they won't have to yell as loud, and it will keep the rest of us from having a headache.

lol I used to go to KSU in the fall of 2010. These guys are funny as hell to me..and whats even funnier are the people arguing with them lol. Their eyes start getting moist and look like they're about to cry.
