Suikoden 2 bosses - #10 Luca Blight, the night raid

The unforgottable night raid. Spoilers in description, for full enjoyement watch video first.

I'm really happy how this video worked out. I actually got chills when watching the final piece :) Even after so many years since first beating this battle. The ending is nostalgic, Luca finds Pilika's (the kid who he tried to kill) wooden amulet on the woods and opens it..

What most of you propably want to know is my character pics. Wasn't the most optimal parties, but I wanted to use characters I normally don't on this walkthrough. I've really fell in love with Oulan haha. Anyway.

Flik's group:

Flik - Duh. Well the guy is called "Flik the blue lightning", so yeah lightning rune it be. Works well.

Zamza - This guy is really good with Fire Sealing rune. It blocks the self-dmg from his own rune attack and also blocks all damage from Luca's fire attacks.

Camus - His (sadly permanent) Rage rune really works on those adds. After the runes are gone, he's pretty weak. But a good pick for first group.

Nina - Ah I love her. Her magic stat is very high, she's good with em. I put a flowing rune on her. Also her unite with Flik is both adorable and strong, 2.5x damage.

Ayda - She has an unite with Kinnison, bow attack. Not much else for her, the lack of rune spots and good stats kinda makes her boring.

Kinnison - My friend wanted me to use Kinnison. He actually turned out to be very good for L-range physical attacker, with warrior and double-edge rune. Might even use him later on.

Viktor's group:
Viktor - I put a waking rune for him, same effect as fury except he's asleep in the beginning. Also double-edge for two hits. Too bad he didn't get any critical hits in.

Valeria - She's all about her rune. I actually got the second form of his rune attack, but on an earlier try on Luca. Memo to self, upload that sometime.

Wakaba - She's damn cool AND strong. I got her second rune attack form actually on this fight, and it was freaking amazing.

Viki - Our lovely teleporter. She food bombed Luca /o\

Lorelai - Put a killer and draining rune for him. So increased crit chance, and heal herself if crits. Too bad she still never crits. Lame.

Tai Ho - Good decent attacker with double-edge and double-strike runes.


Joni's group:
Joni - Healer with flowing/bright shield. Tried to steal potch with techinique, got crit but no steal :(

Humphrey - He's my tank. When he gets hit, his Violence rune actives for 6x damage! Sadly he never got a chance to show his power.

Oulan - I need to get over her. She's just too awesome with fury+angry dragon!

Rina - A new find, she had 3 rune slots open! That begs for double-strike (1.5x damage), fury (2x damage) and double-edge (2x attacks), great attacker if properly equipped.

Tengaar - She's a good magic user.. I think I put an Alert rune for her, which would boost magic IF the battle lasts 3 rounds.. oh well.

Luc - The best magician in game. Wizard rune for damage boosts, blue gate and mother earth for attacks.

EDIT: After countless of hours fighting against youtube rejections and random glitches in movie maker, editing took a hit. Atm I'm happy just for actually gettng this vid out.

Luca was one of my fave video game characters of all time. pure evil and pure badass, whereas most villians have some silly reason for doin what they do, he just wanted 2 :)
