It sounds like Apple is stonewalling. This important issue will surely affect future sales of iPhones. Google Voice is here and it's not going away.

not at all . the media knows that many applications are controlled by AT&T. if they think an app will blow their servers like Skype,, either they will ban it or limit it to wi-fi

AT&T definitely has control of the market with the iPhone and that's what SHOULD be looked at...not Apple. Do you think Apple truly cares whether Google offers Google Voice on its platform.... as long as people are buying their phones - and they're buying these life-changing devices! I love mine! The dropped calls are one too many (AT&T), but the phone is amazing! One thing I wish it would have is Flash 8 to play videos from certain web sites! Anyone know how to do that?

its AT$T that controls the apps and other countries suffers. i think apple should drop at whatever T as their stupid official carrier
