TF2 Bot Battle on main menu

TF2 Bot Battle on main menu. The bots do NOT fight the same exact way every time. Every time I boot up my menu they fight differently, sometimes with BLU getting the first cap, sometimes with RED.

I have no idea. At the time of this video TF2 didn't have any official bots, it now does. The official bots don't do CTF. You could try to use this, instructions are at the link in the description.

Can you use this while playing as well? These bots seem decent enough to play against, and my internet's been screwy lately so could I just host a server and add bots who do this type of stuff?

Yes, but it doesn't work on every map.

Sniper has some issues *aiming at people though walls*, and pyro and medic don't play well yet. So just avoid those classes until a new version of the bots is released.

Quick guide to singleplayer:

Create server, make it a koth or arena map

sv_cheats 1

nav_generate

wait a long time

tf_bot_add #

replace # with any number, I suggest 1 or 3 because bots eat your fps. There ya go, bots. They're basic but pretty developed in flanking and stuff. They even change class if the same class kills them a few times.

I just add them randomly, let them choose their own class. Medic's not best with healing people but makes a decent battle Medic, Pyro... yeah, he sucks atm. Sniper, haven't noticed him much.
