One thing I remember is most of the 50's were ex-North Central jets with the exception of N401EA, an ex-Muse Air and a few others. N960NC-N987NC. The 40's and some 30's from foreign carriers that just use letters were redesignated with an alpha numeric code which ended in NW. I believe the 30's were N6XXNW and the 40's were N7XXNW.
