Here is a real quick look at fuduntu, a fedora based distro that the developer did not think would be popular, but now has quite a big following, and i found it really nice to use in my short time with it, but if i wanted to use a fedora based distro i would go with this one, so it's a big nice from me..

  • You seemed disappointed about there being no installed office suite, Google app store has the right idea as most things when you click install merely creates a link or icon which takes you to the online app, this is the way it is going and a few distros are at least trying to keep up with some of it.

The only office suite I use is G.Docs because you can't lose your work plus when you want somebody to see a doc you just give them a link to it which they can view or edit if you wish them to.

  • @fatriff ok mate thats not strictly true, nothing is infalable and i like a nice hard copy on m machine just in case the web dies for some time....lol

  • @sneekylinux Well, your right there but what are the chances of the web dying for some time vs hard drive failure? or some other failure? Power cut?

  • looks very nice

  • liking this distro so far although the updates have been stopping halfway ? maybe just a problem at my end

  • Hey sneeky, there is a new and awesome distro around. Have you heard of it already? It's called Wallbuntu. Are you going to do a review on this? =) =) =)

  • Yes, it is absolutely true, we don't have any garbage or trash in the UK - no we are completely free of it - we just have rubbish! It wasn't so long ago that we only had bunches of flowers - now it seems we can have bunches of people!

Jupiter is a power manager for laptops. I tried it on a Toshiba laptop and it crashed the system & went back to reboot after being on just a few minutes. I have it on my EeePC & it's OK. Not had low battery yet so don't know if it does the job it is supposed to.

  • well, nothing new. estheticly poor i must say. 2/5.

  • this looks interesting is it 32 bit or 64 and how hard was the install ?
